Q. What is Appointy?

Appointy is a cloud based scheduling software. What Amazon is for products, Appointy is for services. Appointy has over 100,000+ businesses in 110+ countries. We book 1 appointment in every 5 seconds, somewhere in the world.

Q. What is the duration of the internship?

The basic internship is of 2 months followed by extension and PPO if selected. Below is the life cycle of an internship at Appointy.

  • Initially, candidates will be selected for 2 months
You will be paid Rs 10,000 for 2 months subject to a minimum of 160 hours. Appointy will try to identify your passion and try to push your limits during these 2 months. Everyone will get a certificate at the completion of the our basic internship.
  • Intense 4 months training
If you are selected to continue after 2 months, you will be paid Rs 10,000 for every 80 hours. During this time you will undergo an intense 4 months training.
  • PPO Offer
After 6 months, some candidates may get a PPO offer and they would have to continue the internship (80 hours per month minimum) till their joining. This condition would be exempted during exams. Appointy’s growing fast and we wish the same for you! While it is very likely that your experiences and core skills may vary greatly, we look for some common characteristics in you:

  • Passion for learning

Q. Does your CGPA matter?

We believe that grades don’t define your intelligence. Sachin Tendulkar never had good grades but he is still an idol for almost everyone. He just followed his passion. As long as you know your thing, you are in.

Q. Can I apply if I am a non CSE branch student?

It doesn’t matter what stream you are from. You are judged on the basis of your skills and potential, not the stream you chose. 95% of Appointy team is from non CSE background. 🙂

Q. Will your college routine clash with your internship at Appointy?

It isn’t a summer internship and so you’ll be interning during your academic session. But, Appointy gives you the freedom to come and work anytime, without unsettling your college life. If you can contribute at least 80 hours/month, you’ll be fine.

Q. What not to expect from Appointy?

Appointy is not a training program. You’ll experience how working at a startup feels like, but you won’t be spoon-fed. You are supposed to find your domain and contribute by being creative. You will learn to ideate, plan and execute things.

Q. How exactly will this internship be helpful to you?

Appointy believes that “a mind that is stretched by new experiences can never go back to its old dimensions”. Interning at Appointy will benefit you in several ways:

  1. You’ll learn to take up responsibilities.
  2. You’d have made a difference to the company even if you were just an intern.
  3. You’ll discover your skill-set and capabilities.
  4. Seeing how a startup works might help in you in building one of yours.

Q. When and where can I apply for tech and non-tech roles?

The registration form for technical internships and graphic designers are closed and registrations for non technical internships will be open till 16 Sept 2016, 23:59 hrs. You can register @ https://lifeat.appointy.com/code-studio-3-form/
